This Weekend In Techno Town

THURSDAY SEP 20
Helping push the popularity of Dubstep and Moombahton, DJ DatsiK returns to Orlando for the first time since EDC last year, performing at The Beacham along with Delta Heavy and others. They're also at the Amphitheatre in Tampa on Friday night.  ($20)

EarthDance is a 4-day event at the Maddox Ranch outside Lakeland that features numerous popular DJ's including Heavygrinder, Suzy Solar, DJ Bella, Oona Slim, DJ Sisco, DJ Rap, DJ Shortee and many more. Begins Thursday and runs into Sunday.  (4 day ticket $60)

FRIDAY SEP 21
One of the most unique EDM artists around, DJ/Producer Amon Tobin (BR) is performing his Isam: Live 2.0 album this Friday night at House of Blues, Downtown Disney West Side, in Lake Buena Vista.  ViceMag has called the show "a revolutionary music experience"!  ($34)
But at the same time, a revolutionary DJ in her own right, Nicole Moudaber (GB) will be performing at Senso Supper Club in downtown Orlando!  Collaborating with world-famous DJ Carl Cox, she has a residency at Club Space in Ibiza and is known for her pure House and Heavy Techno style!  ($12)
Also on Friday night at Suite B Lounge, guest DJ Sharaz joins some of the NLP DJ group including Matrix, Jdub, MX, Security and others for a night of crazy Breakbeats!  ($7)









But start your Friday night even earlier with DJ Magic Mike for happy hour from 6pm to 10pm at Vintage Lounge with an open bar until 7:30pm!  Local favorite DJ Freefall follows. (Ladies FREE all night, Guys FREE until 11pm, then $5)

Nicole also hangs out with Danny Tenaglia here and there. That caught my eye a while back since I follow Danny.

Isn't Freefall the Dj that does a lot of work at 180 on Sunday or Monday nights? If he's the one I'm thinking of, he broadcasts live from 180 on his Ustream channel. I've watch for a while here and there and it's pretty cool.

Hello DJ Smooth. As of the moment I'm planning to cover Nicole's set for the Blog.

As for DJ Freefall, I don't recall running into him at 180 but that was probably him. I've mostly run into him in the past at Vintage, Vain and Dragon Room. Seems like he also did the Labor Day "techno night" at CityWalk last year or the year before.
