Club Reports: Touch, Dragon Room, Independent Bar

First return visit in awhile to Touch nightclub on Church Street downtown.  The place was named for the touchscreen monitors patrons could use to order drinks from their tables but that seems to be completely eliminated now.  Same tables but I didn't see any turned-on.
Long line to get in for their Saturday night "Ladies Night" with free entry for all and ladies drink free until midnight.  The price is right!
The DJ was playing 100% Hip Hop during my visit although the announcer said they'd be playing Electrohouse and Old School later.
Hard to take photos across the haze as the place filled-up.  Best news though was I found my favorite downtown bartender Melessa from now-closed Bliss Ultra Lounge working here!
Dragon Room Cocktail Boutique is another Saturday night venue that is also typically Hip Hop.
Resident DJ Adam Wells was in the booth spinning.....Hip Hop. And some Reggae.
Dance floor was getting fuller as the night wore on.
Dragon Room girls out on the street were passing out cards good for free admission until midnight all summer long. That plus 2 for 1 drinks meant the price was right!
But all that Hip Hop fun can't last forever as a late evening arrival at Independent Bar meant I had to trade it in for 80's New Wave instead!
Resident DJ Indie John overseeing the action from high above.
The place was Saturday-night packed!
I-Bar has the best scene downtown on Saturday nights and is popular for all ages.

Spotted: Keila has been coming to I-Bar since the club opened!
And a good time was had by all!
