Club Reports: Silly Grape, Vintage Lounge

The Silly Grape on Keller Road in Maitland is a small beer & wine joint catering to the after work happy hour crowd in the Maitland Center area. A full liquor license is expected in late November; current entertainment offerings range from a top hits singer to karaoke.

Except late on Thursday nights DJ Vitamin C comes on stage to put out House, Dance & Top 40 remixes.

The mixes are mostly Vocal House songs you'd recognize although there can be some obscure non-Vocal music in there too. But even those will keep you bouncing to the beat.

The after-work crowds have long-gone by the time this happens but the music deserves to have locals in the area come on over, especially if you don't have to get up early on Friday.

Thursday night visit to Vintage Lounge in downtown Orlando.

The Thursday night resident is DJ Freefall. The last few times I'd seen him he was playing Top 40 and a lot of Hip Hop; not so last night.  It was 100% Top 40 Dance and House!
The club was jammed and as is typical in Vintage, people dancing where ever!

Even in the DJ booth!

Around 12:30 this morning Freefall gave up the reigns over to DJ Meat Katie (GB).

The dance floor area near the booth got more crowded at this point.

He continued the previous momentum with more House, Progressive and Electronica.

And a good time was had by all. Great music on a Thursday night in Techno Town!
