While there, do you find any Bold, New chain restaurants we should clone for the oh so unique Hyperion Wharf?
Joe, there is a British company called HMV that operates stores quite similar to what Virgin Megastores were. They're all over Canada and seem to be thriving. They took over the bankrupt Virgin store in Vancouver too. Seems like there could be place for them in DTD. How about pizza? There are real pizza places in DTD. Two chains I noticed in Canada were called Boston Pizza and Pizza Pizza. Finally, no real breakfast places either at DTD. An absolute institution in Canada is called Tim Horton's. Canadians often joke about them putting one in the Canadian pavilion at EPCOT. There are more Tim Horton's in Canada then there are ESSO stations!
err HMV (in the UK anyway - not sure how the international stores are structured) are dangerously close to going bust and have issued multiple profit warnings this year. They're currently desperately selling off assets to meet their next debt payment.
There is also a Planet Hollywod, Hard Rock Cafe and a waterpark.
Anon at 1:29pm, did not know that about HMV. Since most music is bought on-line now, I can see how that type of business would struggle. Thanks for the info.Anon at 11:19am, I don't recall seeing the PH there but did by the wife a t-shirt at HRC.
